Courtney (Office Coordinator)

Courtney has worked as the dental office coordinator for over 20 years. Along with her husband, Matt, and their children, Mason and Emma, Courtney loves to go to the beach, canoeing, kayaking and fishing on the Manistee River and Lake Michigan.

My Why...

"With my father being a dentist and my grandfather and uncle owning a dental lab, my entire life has revolved around dentistry - from being fascinated with all the cool things in my grandfather's lab, to helping file charts and mowing the lawn after school, to eventually working full time at the front desk. Dental technology has changed so much in such a short amount of time.  When I started, I had to type every insurance claim and mail them, appointments were written in a book, x-rays had to be developed, fillings were silver metal (amalgam) and crowns contained metals. Now claim filing is electronic, appointments are computerized, x-rays are digital and restorations are metal free.  I look forward to what will be next because it just keeps getting better.  The past 20 years "up front" have given me the opportunity to work with some rally terrific coworkers and meet a lot of amazing people.  The personal relationships with all the patients over the years has been the best part of my day.  I truly feel blessed to personally know many generations of families and to have shared in their many life's joys and even sorrows.  Seeing people love coming to the dentist always makes me smile.  I love seeing the transformation from nervous or embarrassed to happy and confident.  A nice smile really is a huge part of a person's confidence. I am proud to work at BWD with an amazingly talented, caring dentist and a team that works together with the same goal, to provide the best dental experience for our patients."

Fallon (Administrative Team Member)

Fallon and her husband, Kris, moved up from Swartz Creek to Cadillac in 2012. After working as a receptionist for 5 years at Airport Animal Clinic, she decided to move on and try something new. She enjoys going back down home to visit with her family, scrapbooking and reading. She also loves spending time with Kris and their cat, Riley, and two dogs - Chloe (a yorkie) and Sparty (a lab). She also likes to go to Disney World and Mackinac in the summer.

My Why...

"I started out with Dr. White as a patient when she was in Cadillac and just loved her personality. I followed her to Manton when she opened her practice.  I always looked forward to coming to my appointments because the atmosphere in the office was always a fun one and everyone was always welcoming and happy. I knew that it was some place I would enjoy working and love to be a part of because she was also pain free. I enjoy seeing people's smiles transform and their excitment when their treatment is finished."

Danielle (Treatment Coordinator / Patient Advocate)

Danielle has been in dentistry for almost 20 years as a dental assistant.  She was Dr. White's assistant for 5 of those years at Northern Quality Dental and here at Brite White Dental.  Danielle took some time off to help her husband with his business, but her love for dentistry brought her back to us.  Her caring nature and love of dentistry makes her perfect for her new role to help people determine the best way to pursue their oral health goals.  Her hobbies include anything to do with the outdoors, her family, and reading. She lives in Cadillac with her husband, two daughters and two furbabies.

My Why....

"I chose this profession because I have always loved a person's smile.  I love a person who feels confident when they share their smile - they don't shy away or cover it up because they don't feel comfortable. I want everyone to feel good laughing, smiling & showing their beautiful teeth! My mission is to help everyone achieve their dental goals!"

Helen (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Helen grew up in Central Lake, Michigan and graduated from the Ferris State Dental Hygiene Program in 2008. She has been married to her husband Howard for over 20 years and they have two children - Hannah and Paul. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family as well as surf Facebook and Pinterest. She also loves to bake, kayak, hike the North Country trail and lay on any hot beach.

My Why...

"What gets me out of bed and keeps me eager to come to work is my love of dentistry and my family.  When choosing a career, I liked the dental field because of the hours.  I liked the idea that I would have lots of time to be home with my growing family. Working 30 hours a week is a blessing to me.  Now that I live and work in Manton and know my patients personally, I love that I can care for 3 generations of families in one day.  Most of all, I love that I work for Dr. Jennifer White, her high quality dental work and utilization of the atest in innovative technologies makes me feel good about the services I provide.  Making "brite" smiles is a treat and makes me smile."

Karisa (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Karisa joined us in June of 2020. She is SO passionate about hygiene and wants to help everyone be healthy.  She is engaged to be married to the love of her life in July.

My Why...

"I am a dental hygienist because I love teeth and, most importantly, I love people. I enjoy meeting new patients and pouring love into them.  I am passionate about hygiene and being a hygienist gives me the chance to change lives for the better. I love building relationships through care and trust.  My goals is to educate and love as many patients as I can."

Tammy (Dental Assistant)

Tammy, originally from Mackinaw City, moved to the area a few years ago. She has been in the dental field for over 20 years and is very passionate about helping her patients. Tammy and her love, Bryon, have 3 beautiful daughters, a smart and funny son-in-law and a gorgeous granddaughter. Tammy loves spending time with her family, especially if they are on the golf course or playing in the water of Lake Missaukee.

My Why...

"Growing up, I was fortunate that my mom made 6 month cleaning appointments a priority. Because of that, it wasn't until I was an adult before I had my first filling.  I always looked forward to going and had great experiences at my dental appointments.  So, when the time came for me to choose a career path, the choice was pretty easy.  Having a patient leave as a friend, who not only trusts you, but puts all their faith in you to lead them to a path of excellent oral health makes my heart smile!

For the past twenty years, it's been amazing to watch the technology and advances in this totally awesome world of dentistry.  Having Dr. White as a team leader keeps it fun and we never stop learning!"

Becky (Registered Dental Assistant)

Becky has worked as a dental assistant for the last 17 years. She was raised in Manton and is proud to still call it home. Becky and her husband Scott have two sons - Benjamin and William. They also have a black lab named Franklin. As a family, they enjoy camping and boating. She looks forward to caring for the members of her community.

My Why...

"When I lived downstate, I was a hygiene coordinator and I loved the vibe at the office.  When I moved back up north, I enrolled in the assisting program and everything came so naturally to me, I knew that this was going to be a perfect fit for me."
